ロシアのウクライナ侵攻に抗議し即時撤退を求める声明
ロシア軍による突然のウクライナ侵攻は、国際法に違反し、あらゆる道理に反した蛮行であり、私たちは強く非難します。
非道な攻撃により、罪のない子どもたちなどの多くのウクライナ市民が殺害されたことは明らかな戦争犯罪であり、ウクライナそして世界の人々と私たちも深い悲しみと強い憤りを共にしています。
私たち世界文学会は、先の大戦における日本軍国主義による侵略行為への反省を踏まえ、文学研究を通して平和な世界構築に貢献することを理念として創設されました。
このような理念のもとで、ロシア軍による理不尽な殺害行為の即時中止と全面撤退を強く求めます。

We Protest against Russia’s Invasion of Ukraine and Demand Russia Agree Immediate Ceasefire and Retreat from Ukraine

The Society of World Literature Japan strongly denounces Russia’s invasion of Ukraine which is a breach of international law and unjustifiable barbarism not only against people in Ukraine but also against humanity. The Russia’s military operations have been causing civilian casualties: murdering non-combatant Ukrainians such as children is an obvious war crime. We share with Ukrainians and the world deep condolences for those who were killed and strong indignation against the ongoing Russian invasion.
The Society of World Literature Japan was organized just after the Second World War with their firm determination to create peace through literary studies, for they were keenly aware that Japan’s militarist and imperialist ambitions led to its atrocious acts of invasion of its fellow Asian countries. The Society’s pacifist ideals thus challenge Russian troops’ mass murdering of Ukrainians and demand Russia’s immediate ceasefire and wholescale retreat from Ukraine.
Wishing peace for people in Ukraine and the awakening of the old “Russian soul” of humanity,
